She would have that good gospel music playing on Sunday Mornings while getting ready for church. With Evangelist Serena Ford and the Praise Team , we were truly honored to be a part of history. My family and I came to see y’all on the 8th in seaford de. Let me tell you I now have a favorite quartet!! If I must say my favorites is Lamont and Butter….but I love all of you the same!! We had a wonderful time being able to mee and talk with y’all!! I’m still kicking myself for not getting a picture with Mont,I honestly wasn’t thinking at the moment,lol. On Saturday I came out with my family to be a part of a service I knew would be blessed. I think back to the first time I ever heard your group I believe you were in concert with Maggie Ingram and the Ingramette’s. You sang, Take off your shoes Moses, and the church went up in praise. It is that day I fell in love with the music ministry of Jay C. and the Gospel Ambassador’s . Moreover, like many I could sit there on the pew and listen to you sing all day. You take me back when my great-grand mom would sing, Walk in the light beautiful light, come where the dew drops of mercy shine bright. shine all around me by day and by night Jesus the light of the world, it takes me back to the pioneers in my family God called home. I am not yet saved but know in order to see them I must Surrender all …..I pray God to be ready. Keep me in prayer as I will do the same for you. Also thank you and Butter for making my nephews day. His birthday wish was to take a picture with you and Butter, which he has been blessed.

I now live in Wilmington, DE but I am originally from the Eastern Shore of Virginia (Accomack County) and remember seeing the Gospel Ambassadors when I was a very young child. They impressed me then but after maturing and understanding the songs of Zion they sing about, have found them to be an inspiration. No longer do you hear the Songs of Zion sung the way Jay Caldwell and Gospel Ambassadors sing them. I pray God continues to use you to lead souls to salvation! My father has always been one of your greatest fans and whenever you and the group would visit us on the Eastern Shore of VA, he would purchase your tapes (back in the day) and your CD’s. He is now 92 years young and because I cannot come down to take him to see you in Exmore, VA, I plan to bring him to hear you here in DE on 11/02. as he and my mother will be celebrating their 72nd Wedding Anniversary that weekend.
